Starting cd again in next couple of days! anyone want to buddy me?? x

I have a bag full of CD shakes in my cupboard waiting for me to begin this diet again properly. I have 2.5 to 3 stone to lose. I lost over just over a stone a couple of months ago and then fell off the wagon. I found that I was fine during the day when I was busy at work but late in the evening I gave into the grazing temptation. I would cook for my daughter, and I would have a vanilla shake while she ate = all fine and dandy. A couple of hours before I went to bed I'd have a tiny mouthfull of something (promising myself thats all it would be), then a mouthfull more...2 packets of crisps, 1 biscuit, ...etc later ..its all gone out the window! I would really love it, if there are some others out there that find it equally as hard and would like to help each other in the evening..and chat on here. Problem with CD is that there are no group meetings - you pick up your packs and then its up to you. Anyone feel the same? Vicky x

Starting cd tomorrow

Hi saw your message today. I'm starting tomorrow for the 2nd time and would love to lose 2 to 3 stone. First time round I stuck to it for 4 days, although I lost a staggering 9lbs couldn't bear the horrible headaches and dizzy spells so gave in, but didn't have the recommended 3 shakes a day nor drank enough water. I didn't particularly like many of the shakes and only the Spicy Soup so this time I am going to have the shakes that are already made up. My last councillor was completely unsympathetic.

Lucky for me we have a new member of staff in our offices who is a councillor and he has said that the first 4 days are the worst and to give it another go. Hopefully he will give me some encouragement as he is doing it at the moment.

Good luck with yours.

Mel.

Cd club!

Hey Mel - Welcome back to the Cambridge Clan! SOunds like you had a few difficulties before. Alot of people seem to like to the Spicy soup and not the sweet shakes. Strange because I can't stand the spicy soup but love Vanilla, Banana, Toffee, Butterscotch. I normally make them up with more water than need, lots of ice, about 4 Splenda sweetners and blend it for 5 mins at least. If you close your eyes you can almost imagine its ice cream I take the ready made bricks to work for lunch, really like the Chocolate one. But its finished within seconds so I normally shake it up with water. Have you tried having the Chocolate, Chocolate Mint or Chocolate Orange hot in the evenings? Thats quite nice too.

It should help that you have a counsellor on tap, gosh I wish I had one in the office. I'm surrounded by all blokes but they eat what they want, religously gym it daily and compare muscles! I wait till I am nearly alone on my desk before I sneak out my chocolate velvet brick...

Have you started ok today?? I've got through 3 litres of water so far (10 trips to the loo)

I'm ok during the day, its in the evenings when the refridgerator tries to hypnotise me!

Fingers crossed for you! Keep in touch

Vicky
(12 stone 4 lbs - dropped 7 so far)

Hi vixxy

As you can see there are quite a few of us at the moment who have recently started CD diet in last week or last few days.
It has to be all or nothing and if you eat you will feel hungry and all the pain of the first few days will have been wasted; all those headaches etc. We can do it. Think of how nice it will be to go into a store and try on some clothes without all the tears!!!!
Be positive - you are not alone - we are all in the same boat.
Terri

Yes me

I have decided tonight to do this as it is my birthday soon and I have to do something.

I would like to buddy up with you but I will need to contact the woman to get the stuff in the morning.

I am 12 stone and before the kids was 9 stone 4 but 9 12 would be fine so 2 stones and 2 lbs would be perfect but preferably at least a stone in the next three weeks!!!

That's great.

Sorry didn't get back to you last night, fell asleep! This was first thing on my mind again this morning because I weighed myself and I'm 12 stone 11 lbs. I think this is heaviest I've ever been excluding when I was pregnant. Yuck - horrid! I want to feel confident, sociable and happy in my clothes again.

Great you want to buddy up - sounds like we have similar amount to loose. You'll definitely loose a stone in 3 weeks...if we stick to it. Let me know what your woman says this morning.

Getting stuff saturday

I am not starting till Sunday as i haven't got the stuff till Saturday bu stillkeen keen

So starting tomorrow?

Are you beginning tomorrow am? I have been mostly having the shakes since Wednesday but not solely. THursday night was difficult because I went to see Prince with some work colleague. Everyone was drinking and eating, I ended up having 2 drinks.

I weighed myself this morning and I was 12 stone 5 lbs, so have dropped 6 since Wednesday. I have been doing it properly though and this evening was really difficult because I cooked for my daughter and was starving. All I could think about was the food on her plate.
