Don't need to diet - choose to diet!

Hi, I'm 5 foot 4 and weigh 7 stone 5lb. I would like to diet to lose half a stone. I do not have an Eating Disorder - I don't want to lose weight because i look in the mirror and see a big fat blob. I know i'm underweight. I want to lose weight because the slimmer i am - the more comfortable, confident and happier i feel. Is there anyone here who is a healthy weight or underweight, who feel they'd like to lose 7-14 lb? I only ever seem to come across overweight people who need to diet or people with eating disorders. I'm looking for people like me for sharing diet progress/problems and offering support/advice whilst we work to lose and maintain our weight.

Me

Hi there! You shound like me. People dont seem to understand why I would want to live on 500 calories a day and live at the gym. I dont have an eating disorder and probably like you, I feel confident and love it whe people say I look thin! I dont find anything attractive about fat and LOVE the size zero look which I would love to achive but probably never will lol.

I am 5.9 and weigh 10 stone which is heavier than normal which is really getting me down but just had a boob job and this mixed the drugs I had to take put half a stone on me literally between going into hospital and coming out the next day although I am told it will go quickly.

I completely understand where you are coming from and hate it when people go on about houw I dont need to lose weight etc - its generally fat people who say though lol

Hi kelly

F*** other people. If you want to live on 500 calories and be a size zero then you go for it. My mum is always telling me to put on weight because in her eyes i look 'unwell' - thats her opinion. She thinks a size 12 is thin! and loves curves. I think a size 8+ is fat. We're just different. I'm not gonna put on weight just to please her. If i put on weight, she'd be pleased coz' she'd have a healthy, curvy daughter - but i'd be miserable. I will do what i have to do to make me happy - which is under-eating and being under-weight. You must do the same.
Shame you put on weight after your boob-job but whats done is done. You've gained a brand new chest so all's not bad! The weight will be easily lost. Just don't ever allow people to make you feel bad for wanting to be a size zero - if being skinny will make you happy then it's ok, you don't have an eating disorder so no one needs to worry. Like me, you just dislike fat - it's a personal choice and not an illness, which is what many people fail to understand. Good luck with whatever you're going to do and stay beautiful x x x
