Hi rita,
Don't think you can have milk ,i was told that i wasn't allowed any.I've been on the cd diet for 4 days and i have't fanced any milk at all, and still have a coffee so give it a go you my like it without.I did the same as you i read up about the diet first and i'm glad i did, as i was prepared for the side affects that i was to have .But i have't had any i feel fine apart from feeling a little tired .Hope you get on ok with cd .
Good luck ,

Milk

hi sue thanks for the advice, i will def start it on monday as i got my apointment at 9.15am, im just worried i might not be able to stick to it, but reading peoples messages has given me a lot of motivation. have you lost anything yet?

Ritax

Go for it

Hi rita
Glad your going to do cd, i don't regret it and its not that hard realy. I keep busy as i work full time as a teaching assistant and have a family to look after ,so didn't have time to think about food.I have noticed that food that i cook for the family makes me feel slightly sicky , so don't want any (which helps).I weighed my self on friday, day 4 and i had lost 4 lbs but my husband has hiden the scales as i tend to jump on them too often. The week before i when on cd i cut down and lost 5 lbs.
Well good luck it would be nice if we can motivate each other .

Me too

Hi, I'm starting the cambridge diet today. my story is a little bit long and boring and complicated but basically, this is by no means my first time! I've just has a lot of problems sticking to it since i first lost weight sucessfully a couple year back.
Fingers crossed I can find the will power this time and good luck to everyone else!

Fingers crossed for you

Hi,

I think anyone who has started the cd is very brave. Im starting tomorrow and am very nervous in the sence of being able to stick to it. A lot of will is needed, but being on here gives me confidence to do it, knowing other people will go through the same as me, and we all can motivate each other! just think of the weight loss. Hope your coping okay, i will let you know how I feel tomorrow.

Ritax

Brave?

I think it is a bit excessive.

You dont need to be brave to start a diet
