My last detox
I don't detox that regularly, a girl simply doesn't have time... but I try to do this at least once every 4 months... It only takes 3 days...start on a friday, so you're you can chill over the weekend and you'll be back on form by monday.
N.B Absolutely no coffee, tea, alcohol during this time)
Day 1 - Concentrate on drinking loads of water and fruit juice to kick start the detox. Have a light breakfast, a small bowl of pasta for lunch, and a light salady supper. Get outside and go for a walk for an hour at some point during the day.
Day 2 - No fruit juice today, but masses of water instead. Have fruit for breakfast and then light, healthy meals for lunch and supper. I don yoga, which helps shift the toxins out of your body... Try stretching, or have a massage if you don't have an exercise regime.
Day 3 - Make sure that this falls on the weekend, as you'll feel pretty shaky and weak. Drink loads of water, and eat nothing but fruit all day.
The day after... I always find that I am starving!! But I wake up feeling really alert and ready to go. I'll have a bowl of porridge for breakfast, and I feel really fantastic by the time I get to work.
