Vaser with dr bassi
Hi I had lower abdomen and hips done last Thursday. The procedure was really painfree. Initial results after 1 week are looking ok. Still lumpy and swollen but showing signs of improvement. It is really important to rest. I didn't and think I have suffered more pain as a result. Mags and Dr B were great..

Vaser liposelection by dr bassi
i had my stomach done 4 weeks ago & then my chest done a week later by dr bassi & the results are absolutely amazing. i decided to go for the treatment after i put on quite alot of weight after a foot injury kept me from playing sport for 2 years. i was still going to the gym regular but because i couldnt run or anything my body was putting on weight & gaining alot of excess fat. br bassi suggested because i trained regular that a go for a high definition treatment. This sucked out more fat near the muscle tone giving better shape & definition. To my amazement after 2 weeks my 6 pack has reappeared for the first time since my twenties & my man boobs have completely gone. Even though after the treatment i resummed work next day, i must say i was uncomfortable & needed pain killers on & off for about 2-3 weeks after the procedure. However now after 4 weeks i feel fine & started back playing sport. I would fully recommend br bassi & his surgery as i felt completely comfortable & at ease throughout the whole procedure. kind regards steve

Hi-def. or regular vaser??
Hi Steve,
Your experience sounds brilliant, and I'm really pleased for you! I have had a consultation for Vaser to my upper and lower abs, but have been told that there may be only a 50% improvement over all (there may be more, but the dr. could not promise). I have since read up on the 'High Definiton Vaser' procedure, and, because I work out vigorously 5 times per week (and still have stubborn tummy fat!), am considering booking an appointment with a dr. who performs this, for a second opinion. I was wondering, did Dr. Bassi recommend High Definition to you straight away, or did he also say that regular Vaser was also an option, and also how much difference financially is there between the regular and High Definition Vaser? Sorry for all the questions, but I want to explore all my options before just going for regular Vaser and then regretting it or feeling disappointed.
If anyone else reading this has had Hi-Def., I'd also love to hear from you - about why you chose Hi-Def. specifially over regular Vaser.
Many thanks and best wishes,
Kate

Vaser liposelection
I had the vaser a few months ago. It is very effective and Dr Bassi is very good. But be prepared it does hurt and really you can't go back to work the next day as you leak blood and local anaesthetic from the small incisions. Sounds awful but it really does give a good result. It's also having to wear a compression garment for 6 weeks and not being able to exercise for 6 weeks. You are given the huge tub of aspirated fat to take away with you. You can tell immediately where the fat has been removed from , but the area doesn't smooth out for a couple of months. You're advised to massage the area in the days and weeks following the procedure and to use an infra red massager. I forgot after a few days.

Compression girdle
Hi, i've just booked for vaser with Dr Bassi, and have a question about the compression garment.
I'm about to order one in readiness for my treatment, but didn't know whether to order a second one in a smaller size? I figure that if i'm about to get smaller, it would help to start with the bigger corset, then move onto a smaller one?
Can anybody recommend if this is a good idea or not?

High definition vaser?
Hi there!
I have a consultation with Dr. Comins at Hans Place next week, and was just wondering if you had decided to go ahear with your Vaser or not? I have already had a consulation with a dr. at a different clinic, who has said that Vaser's a good option for my upper and lower abs, but that I shouldn't expect more than a 50% improvement (there may be more improvement, but the dr. will not promise - good in a way that he is honest). However, my reason for booking in with Dr. Comins at Hans Place is that he performs 'High Definition Vaser', and because I am sporty and work out vigorously 5 times per week, I'm wondering if I'd get a more satisfactory result with the Hi-Def. I'm really keen to hear from anyone who has had Hi.-Def. Vaser on their tummy, why they chose this over regular Vaser, and what the price difference was.
Kindest regards,
Kate

Hans place
I wasn't as keen on this clinic-I went to see 3 different doctors in London before I decided on the one whose manner I liked. It's important to feel they care

Pain and results
Hi everyone Can anyone help? I have seen Dr Joshua Berkowitz at the Wimpole Aesthetics Clinic in London - he seems really nice, and explains everything clearly. There's bound to be some discomfort, but I feel sure that he can produce good results. Has anyone else been there?

Vaser lipo before by wedding
In fact it was five weeks before my wedding so I really felt I was playing with fire and so many people were against it but i had tried EVERYTHING to lose weight and as I'm now 48, weight loss does not come easy. Also as a teacher I have a very stressful job which doesn't help with the comfort eating. I was very apprehensive especially as it was a mere five weeks to the wedding but three weeks after the treatment on 18th June my stomach is flat for the first time in about five years and I feel fantastic that i can walk down the aisle without this huge stomach which was a source of great upset to me. Yes it is painful, but Mags and Dr Bassi do their best to keep you entertained during the procedure and kept reminding me about the wedding The valium had no effect on me at all so i gritted my teeth and thought of the greater good. I did not want traditional liposuction and general anaesthetic which is why I chose vaser. Dr Bassi also seems to have an excellent reputation so I felt in good hands. The first night was the worst when I just seemed to drip blood but by the second day the bleeding had virtually stopped. I felt like Michelin Man with all the pads on and you do need a sympathetic partner to help with the pads and the corset which luckily I had. I took loads of vitamins particularly C and Berocca and within a week my incisions had healed. No I couldn't have gone straight back to work - but i guess it depends what you do, the first week was the only really uncomfortable week for me. I would definitely consider going back for more treatment should I require it but with a fortnight to go till my wedding I am delighted with my upper and lower abdoment and would like to thank Mags and Dr Bassi for such excellent care. Everyone at the surgery seems so nice and if you need painkillers, ask for them. I can't take aspirin so I had a strong dose of co-codamol which did the trick.

Vaser lipo at selston clinic
Hi I have had vaser surgery at Selston clinic on my abdomen, its only 4 weeks and my only complaint is this corset its a bit of a passion killer and very uncomfortable in the hot weather. I was a wake althrough the surgery but I wouldn't describe it as painful at all, my partner had to drive me home after surgery and I made dinner for us both to eat as soon as I got home. I did take paracetamol tablets for a few days afterwards but carried on just as normal and went into work 3 days later ,my abdomen was all bruised for a while but the bruises quickly dissapeared . I am really pleased with the result so far and have been told that my skin will get even better. My stomach was really flabby and even now it feels really firm better than when I was 20 years old. I have booked to have my flanks done in a few months I had the old type of liposuction on my double chin 3 years ago at a hospital in Sheffield but the result is not in the same league as vaser as vaser tightens the skin up at the same time.

Your vaser treatment
Hi Karen
I have a consultation next week for Vaser and i am so relieved to read that it isn't that painful and you can carry on as normal. It is so good to hear different peoples stories. If you don't mind me asking how much did you pay for your abs. and did you have both top and bottom done. Also is there any reason you didn't have your flanks done at the same time. Is that through choice or that they couldn't do it all at once?.
Thanks and looking forward to your reply.
