Been on cambridge know on slimfast any advice


i was on th cambridge diet, and lost almost 2 stone i stopped as i was finding it hard ive put 9lbs on so im going to do slimfast as its very similar to cambridge alot cheap0er and i can eat fruiut inbetween shakes which i missed with cambridge,and have a meal,anyone o the slimfast plan and how are you doing need some tips and maybe meal ideas would be grateful.

Are you still doing slim fast?

I did CD for 7 weeks and lost 25lbs, I came off it for a month and put on 8lbs, i'm back on it now and am seriously considering doing slim Fast because of the cost.

Have you lost as successfully doing Slim Fast if so have you any tips etc?

My friend is on the cambridge diet but i just cannot afford to pay £35 a week for it. I looked into the slimfast and have compared the ingredients and they are not so different so i am going to try that.The only difference i did find between the 2 that was 'so' different was that there is no chromium in the slimfast shakes but that can be bought from health stores. I don't know whether that will make a difference or not but hey, worth a try!!!
Sainsburys are doing the slimfast powder buy one get one free so you get 24 shakes for the price of 4.34!!

Hi,

I was on cd too. I had started in March I did it for 4 weeks and lost 15lbs. Ive put on 5lbs!! I was thinking of slimfast but decided against it as im fed up of shakes! so now im starting my own diet a bit like the atkins, where as I will stay in ketosis and just cut out of carbs. On my last week on cd I ate eggs cheese and chicken and still lost weight. Thats why I thought I would try this now.

hi i did do the atkins for a while but i cant just eat meat ect,i miss my carbs to much i couldnt function well ,im eating good carbs with slimfast lots of fruit and a good meal,im introducing weight watchers and slimming world food into the plan so im eating healthy and not hungary.

seems like your like me. I too love my carbs, I found it so hard limiting carbs. However before I went on the cd I did weight watchers, its okay if you want slow weight loss. I only lost 3lbs on my first week, I counldnt believe it considering I still felt hungry!! But one thing I have learned is while on the cd and atkins I find if your body is in ketosis you loose the fat so much quicker and the inches drop off, but its like you said its so hard, as im a carb person.
