Weight lifting for women...............

hi all i have been thinking about this for a while, i admire the tone of the bodys of these people that weight lift, although i dont want to get bulk and muscle i do want to be solid and firm, so i got this book out, called Champions body for life........anyone know if this works and any advice for a newbie would be great i will post my pix in 12 weeks time from monday, as this is what they reckon it will take to start showing results, i will show you the befores then too, i am not brave enough too as yet, lol,....so tonight i am enjoying lots of hot chocolate with marshmellows, chocs and crisps cos i have to eat healthy too > Any pinters would be fab xox

I always thought lifting weights could result in bulk and muscles. That's why it never appealed to me

Weight lifting for women...

I really enjoy lifting free weights. I don't do a great deal these days normally about 15-20 mins in the gym after a cardio workout - however I would suggest easing yourself into weights with a couple of weekly Body Pump classes. Body Pump is a great class to tone up and tighten things if you do it on a regular basis. If you decide to lift weights and don;t wish to bulk up ensure you lift a lighter weight and do more reps...

Weight lifting is now my passion and i am even thinking of running classes as a hobby.
Yes, if you want to do it go for it. how I ended up doing it? it is a long story. i do weight lifting at home. got few dvd from an american fitness guru Cathe Friedrich, she is inspirational and motivational. she is the best as far as I am concern.Any information about her dvd go to www.cathe.com.should you need more info, send me a pm.
