Skydivers???

Are skydivers here?

I've always wanted to have a go!

How did you get into it?

Is it really that dangerous?

Is insurance really steep? I suppose plenty of people do it now.
I've alwyas wnated to have a go too, but I think I'd have to be actually pushed out of the plane! Once I was out I'd be fine and I think i'd really enjoyit, it's just the idea of the first jump into thin air that scares me. What was the hardest part for you?

i did a tandem skydive about 2 years ago now, it was amazing!
when you do it tandem you dont have to worry about jumping out of the plane, someone else does it for you!
to be honest, i didnt get as big a rush out of it as i'd expected, but i suppose you would get that if you did one solo. i think the whole jumping out yourself must give you the biggest rush.

i really wanted to do a course to become a qualified skydiver but at the time i wouldnt have been able to afford it!

anyone having doubts about doing it should just go for it...you only live once!
