Re "i'm soooo tired all the time!"
Make sure that you get quality sleep. Snoring and waking up during our sleep can rub us of quality sleep. Or you may be oversleeping. Try to observe these behaviour and make adjustments or seek the help of a professional.

Re: "i'm soooo tired all the time!"
Have you tried taking a daily multi-vitamin as you maybe lacking some nutrients, if you have tried that then you need to check in with your GP as it maybe something more serious like diabetes or maybe you are under some form of stress. It could even be that you are just tried and need some rest.
Keep us informed. __________________ http://www.onlinepharmacycr.com

How to prevent tiredness??
U might lack iron (anaemia); however it may not be an iron problem it may be the lack of Vitamin C which is needed to absorb iron or it could be linked to lack of carbohydrates
Vitamin C is found in certain fruits, so ensure you are eating the correct ones, these include peppers, broccoli, Brussels sprouts, sweet potatoes, oranges and kiwi fruit.
Iron is found in a number of foods, the one's with high iron content include, liver, meat (especially red meat such as beef), beans, nuts, dried fruit (such as dried apricots), whole grains (such as brown rice), fortified breakfast cereals, soybean flour and most dark green leafy vegetables
Also make sure you are eating enough calories throughout the day the recommended calorie intake for a women is 2,000. Try and eat more foods which are higher in carbohydrates as these foods release energy slowly and will prevent you getting tired half way through the day. Good sources of carbohydrates include, bread, rice, pasta, cereals and potatoes. Other foods contain lower amounts these include fruit, vegetables, beans, pulses, yoghurt and milk.
It may also be linked to type 2 diabetes. Type 2 diabetes if untreated can cause tiredness. Other symptoms include urinating a lot, thirst, hunger, weight loss, becoming irritable, blurred vision and trouble seeing. If you are suffering from any of these other symptoms inform your GP in order to get tested for type 2 diabetes. There may also be personal factors involved which are causing this, this may include, stress depression, boredom or lack of sleep. If you feel your personal life is causing the problem, then try talking to a friend about your worries or stress. If you feel you are unable to talk to friends or family then arrange a meeting with a councillor, because some people feel it is better to talk to someone they dont know about their problems.
The good thing is all these things are treatable. With the right treatment you should be able to live a happier and tired free lifestyle.

Anemia?
You could be anemic. Ask your doctor for a quick check up, it is very common. they can prescribe you (i think) with a special iron supplement, and advice on which foods to reduce/increase in your diet. I have several friends who are anemic badly, and I get anemic around my period. 8 hours of sleep are also essential - every night! and if you find you are anemic try this for a meal: pasta and cheese sauce (follow any basic recipie, they're all similar) with broccoli and spinach (just add to the sauce - turns it a funny green colour but dont let that put you off) - absolutely lovely and very iron rich wash it down with pure orange juice as this has plenty of vitamin C which should help absorb the iron into your blood quicker for an instant boost. and dont drink energy drinks because they can make you more anemic cos of the caffiene. hope tis helps Moo xx

I'm sooooooooooooo tired to
Hi there pennydavis,
I've been so tired for the past 5-6 months aswell. It's got to the point where I've gone to see my GP today who took bloods for glucose, anemia amd thyroid. I look fine - not pale or anything, sleep like a baby but am constantly SHATTERED. I strongly suggest you get checked out by your GP too as you may well be anemic or something. You should't leave your health to fester. If you don't look after yourself - no one else will do it for you!!!!!

Always tired - why/what to do
Hello, even though I'm a practitioner of Traditional Chinese Medicine, the first thing I usually suggest is a thorough Western medical check to rule out anything serious. If nothing shows up, that gives you the green light to try alternatives, such as Chinese medicine.
Diet and lifestyle factors are probably playing a key role in your problem, so you need to look at what you're eating; whether or not you're overworking and/or under too much stress; getting sufficient exercise, and other things too.
You mention eating more fruit and veges, however they won't necessarily give you more energy. Often people who eat a vegetarian diet complain of tiredeness.
While forums like this can offer good advice, there can be too much advice as well, which can be very confusing.
See your doc first.
All the best,
Matthew

Increase your energy level
Hi, Penny.
You say that you get a good night sleep. Are you sure? The amount of sleep you get is one thing. Getting quality sleep is another.
Mental issues are a common factor for tiredness. You might be bored, stressed out or simply worry too much, and drains you out.
I've set up a short presentation that summerizes the main steps toward becoming an energetic person.
Download it here: http://a-sleep.com/energy.pps
I hope I could be of some help.

Hi !
I'm a french girl and I come on this site for the first time, so I saw your title and I think you're maybe always tired because your body is tired ! what is your job ? perhaps it's too hard all long time, and it's so good to start eating fruit and vegetables but maybe you have an anaemia ! tell this to your doc, and make a blood test, the first sign is the tiredness.. and if it's that, you will have to eat more and more meat. (and your doc will give you a treatment like the IRON), and another thing again : if you have an anaemia, avoid to drink a lot of tea.. So... I hope my english isn"t too bad , and I hope that"s help you..

Go see your doctor
Hi My name is Sandra and I'm 24. I lice in Scotland. I saw yor message about being tired all the time. in 2001 I went to my doctor cause I was feeling tired all the time. I slept well at night, Missed my nine o'clock classes at Uni and only managed to go from 12 pm onwards. I would be findin g it difficult not to fall asleep. Tried eating more fruit but it didn't help. Sound familiar? I also found that I was gaining about a kilo a week dispite healthy eating. I had to go to the doc anyway and mentioned it as a by the way kind of thing. Turns out I have an underactive thyroide gland. Just need to take one tablet a day and am fine. It came on so gradually that it was barely noticable. But when I was on the thyroxine I suddenly realized what bad shape I was in because I was feeling so much better. Now I can lead a normal life again All the doc would have to do is a blood test. They also check for diabetes cause the symptoms are similar. YOu have nothing to loose by going to the doc. Hope that helps Sandra

Vitamin c
I take Vitamin C when i'm tired and it seems to work. Also, dried fruit, but I suppose they're just ways of helping the symptoms, not getting to the root of the problem. Have you seen your doctor? Maybe it's the weather - ie seasonal Affective Disorder... my sister gets that really badly and it knackered for six months of the year.

Hi katy
Thanks for replying, I have seen the doctor so there's nothing wrong with me. I have'nt tried vit.C so i think i'll give it a try. You might be right about the weather having some affect on me, i hate winter and i really feel the cold too, perhaps i've gone into hibernation mode like bears do!!! It's interesting to hear about your sister as i always feel like poo this time of year - when spring/summer come around i definitely do feel 500% better. Thanks for the tip, i'll keep you posted! Hi
I always feel crap at the this time of year - it's almost worse if we have a few days of sunshine, then nothing! I find I have more energy when I exercise, so I try and go for a 20 min brisk walk or jog (apart from I've just had a baby, so not doing much pf eother at the mo) two or three times a week and it's amazing the difference it makes.

Re tired all the time
Hi!
First up. I'm a man! Straight too. Not on here for the obvious either. (Well I'm sure a few posts will prove that!).
I was actually surfing looking info on fitness etc and recovery.
I find that i stopped getting less tired when I increased the intensity of my aerobic activity. THis seems to have made my body over compensate and recover faster. Now obviously I've given myself time between runs but I haven't felt so alive for about 15 years! (43 btw).
Also are you getting enough water? This helps tremendously.
I've also found that the flat being untidy makes me tired so I've given myself very short times to sort single items e.g. washing up and do youknow how much better you feel when you get a job done?
I've even invested in a 'daylight lamp' (2 actually). At this time of year they really cheer me up. I haven't been diagnosed with SAD but by god I do feel down when it gets darker. Mad as it sounds these lamps have been a god send. Previous to getting them I used to get so tired and miserable during Autumn and Winter. IN fact over the years I noticed that my relationships suffered cos of the SAD. Last 2 autumn and winters... no trouble. Just keep the lamp on lots.
I've also taken the step of getting a mind movie from www.darrylsdomain.co.uk too. I watch my vid (even on my phone) and it helps me focus upon what I want rather than what I don't want.
Finally are you happy at work? I no this all sounds nosy but stress doesn't half make you tired.
Hope this helps lass
David
