Vertigo

Hi, I've just turned 21 but have been diagnosed with Benign Positional Vertigo (BPV) with over a year. Although i had a good few 'attacks' before and was even admitted to hospital for a week in march, it had seemed to pass. I was in last yr college and although that was disrupted big time everything was coming together...Till last month. Its back with a vengence and had to leave my job (my first qualified) and move home with parents. Back on meds but still have "funny" days. Anyone out there with vertigo? Other people often don't get it!

Vertigo

Hi, ive suffered with vertigo since having my daughter 11years ago, my GP said i would
probably have it on and off for many years to come. I have medication for it and when
i feel it coming on i start taking it straight away and find this very effective,
the only draw back is the tablets give me a headache. It a horrible feeling, if i have a bad attack i have to stay in bed for a few days until the meds kick in. Believe it
or not i know quite a few suffers, if you get the right meds it is easier to control.

Vertigo

Hi there my aunt also has vertigo, it's a terrible condition. We constantly worry about her, once she had a very bad spell at the mall, we had to go pick her up. She found a new product online about two months ago from a company called sinuswars. It seems to be helping her at the moment, which is great relieves some stress on me. I fully understand what a big impact this condition can have on your life. I will also keep you posted on my aunts progress

Re:vertigo

hi there. a couple of years ago, my mum took a 'dizzy spell', we took her to a&e, as she began vomiting, and was explaining it as she was drunk, and many at the hospital thought she was, as she was swaying all over the place. she was told it was vertigo, and to go home. she was given antibiotics i think. recently her symptoms have got more frequent. she knows first thing in the morning, when she wakes up if she is having an "episode". she went back to doctors, and they have now said it is labrynthitis(not sure my spellings right). they have given her tablets to take when she feels this coming on, and usually by the next day, she begins to feel much better. not sure what the difference is between the two diagnosis, but you could look into it. hope this might be helpful. good luck
