Help please!!!!kidney stones????

hi there3,
could anyone help me please.

last night i began having severe lower abdominal pain, it lasted about 4, or 5 hours, and has radiated to by back. i am still having back discomfort just now, but not as severe.

the only other symptom i had, was a pain in my vagina. very strange i know!! the only other time i have felt this was when i was pregnant.so if you have been pregant you may know what i mean. it was like an electric shock, lol

i really was very frightened, and it was so sore, i was nearly in tears. i had to lie down, take painkillers, although they had little effect.

i was trying to find out on the net, if my symptoms corresponded with anything. the only thing that it seems like was kidney stones.

has anyone had them?, could you please tell me if this sounds similar. any other help would be great too.

please, please help

Kidney stones in pregnancy

I was found to have kidney stones 5 years ago when I was pregnant with my son 4. I did not have any signs, but having recently given birth to s still born, it is vital that you ask your doctor to refer you to a hospital that will offer you an ultrasound scan on your kidney to rule out stones. You must check to see if you can take ibruprofen as I think that you may have to stay off this painkiller. Drink plenty of fluid, about 4 pints a day, and see your doctor.

They may be able to hlp

There is a company called Talk to a Doctor .co.uk.
if you visit their website it will give you info about how to contact a doctor to ask questions just like that. I can't remember how much it is but it is on the website and when you call you get to talk with a doctor straight away and they dont mind that its not an emergency call.

Thank you

thanx for replying. i will check it out. my symptoms seem to be easing slightly. although i still have back pain.

thanx again

xx chelle xx
