Please tell me theres someone else who suffers like i do!

For the past 2 and half years, i have been constantly ill, the doctors are rubbish and ive just kinda got on with it.

First of all it started as headaches every day without fail and i still get them, then i started getting stomach problems. The doctor said this was IBS, so after awhile i went back and said im not happy, headaches all the time and stomach problems.
He said try these tablets, which are a form of anti depressant! they made me feel so chilled but after awhile i decided that I didnt want to take them as I no i am not depressed. I think it was the doctors way of fobbing me off.!

So i decided to come off the pill,I had been on Yasmine, Microgynon, and another one. The headaches did stop but they are back again. along with stomach problems.

I believe its partly due to stress, over the past six months ive moved house and planned a wedding ( 6 weeks away ) I do tend to stress out alot,as i am also unhappy at work! But I need answers, Im a young girl,i shouldnt be feeling tired, miserable and ill every day!

I have a low sex drive, get very hormonial each month also.

I dont exercise as much as i should, but that cant be the route cause!

I think im going to go to the hospital and have an all round check!

Is it just me ????

Hi

sorry if the title is a little weird but I could swear your living my life. everything you talked about I have experienced; headaches, migraines lasting weeks, stomach problems, vomiting, you name it, and until recently went through doctors like water. I am currently taking around 30+ tablets a week to get to a normal life and yes they offered me AD's too bloody men!

well I am so thrilled to have found you god I do hope you get this. oh and I got married to july too how cool! we went to france for our honeymoon, where did you go?

my email adress is sarahm_23@hotmail.co.uk if you went to reply. if I don't hear from you I knew others like me were out there ha ha

Hi there

I have had one single headache for 13 years and no on can seem to help me either. I have taken myself off the AD's recently, which I'd been on for 7 years, as I realised they were just helping me cope and not helping the initial problem. 4 weeks ago my stomach bloated out and has been like that constantly since, not going down/up with anything I input (or output!). I am barely eating anything because I feel constantly full and queasy, I'm wasting away!! Docs have no solutions so far, but am hoping they will because I can't cope with another unexplained illness (or perhaps they're part of the same thing?)

Please let me know if you have any joy on either front...
Cheers, Louise (nevy79@hotmail.com)

"Feeling ill"
Posted by fairy144 22 July  at  15:40

No, believe me it's not just you. For approx 3 years ive felt ill. Feeling sick all the time, complete loss of energy, weight gain cause i have no energy to exercise. Pain in kidneys. Unexpected bleeding. There is a never ending list, I know i am severly depressed, but have been since 16. But surely its not normal for a 24 year old to feel like i do all the time. I had a combed biopspy a couple of years ago after having abnormalities in my smear test but was given the all clear. I bleed after intercourse. my urine is brown, and my tummy is constantly bloated. Its a blessing if i have one day when i feel well. I sympathise with you completly. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx xxx

Im glad its not just me then! although your symptoms sound awful! what has the doctor said?

Im getting married in 4 weeks and sure as hell dont want to feel how i normally do.

Im going for a session of Reiki tonight, have you tried it?

Someone recommended it to me.

xx
"Your symptoms are exactly like mine."

Hi,

Your symptoms are the same as mine, I get headaches every day and have done since the birth of my son 9 years ago (and no its not him that causes them ha ha). I was told i have intercranial hypertension which is caused by stress. I have had two lumber punctures and they are sore but felt better for about two months afterwards. I also have an upset stomach everyday and i either have to take resolve to settle my stomach to stop me feeling sick or immodium for well im sure you can guess.

I do feel stressed sometimes but i hate being ill every day and feeling so tired i dont want to get out of bed. I do suffer with depression but just get on with it. I am on anti depressants and have been for years. I hope you find something to make you feel better on your wedding day.
