I've always had really slow metabolism as well, but recently I started working out at the gym for the first time and really watching what I eat and being healthy about it, and I swear it has done the trick. My metabolism has never been so fast and it's great. I've never looked into the whole slow metabolism thing, but try, maybe even just for a week, to be really aware of what you are eating and try to eat as healthy as you possibly can. I've also been taking 2 Vitamin E pills every morning and that is supposed to speed things up as well. I'm not an expert but these simple things have worked wonders for me.

On a side note though: I totally know what you mean by lacking the energy to excecise. I'm already cronically fatigued and the thought of having to go in and apply for a gym membership and see all these fit people working out and feeling totally lost was even more exhausting. But I decided I am utterly sick of looking at this unwanted fat that has made a home on my body, and got a membership and a trainer. I went from total couch potato, never count calories, have not done a physical activity since ballet in high school, to weighing myself every day, eating healthier than ever before, and loving the gym. It's been a lifesaver because I never thought I would ever see a skinnier and toned me and for the first time since I can remember, I have energy throughout the day thanks to the workouts and healthier eating habits. Ugh- sorry this sounds like a crazy PSA but I have done every trick in the book aside from crack cocaine to get me lose pounds the easy way and absolutely nothing worked. I'm doing it right now and I see great results. Ok ~rant over~

"Melt your body fat"

Diets have never worked for me but here is a great tip for speeding up your metabolism, so much so that it will continually burn your body fat for up to 24 hours afterwards...even if you are just sitting down at a desk all day.

Short-duration, high-intensity exercise has a very different effect. It pumps up your metabolism -- just 12 minutes of intensity and your body's burning fat for the rest of the day.

I only do this 3 times per week and am much more healthy and shapely as a result..and I am less obsessive about food because it is being burned up more quickly.

I have a free report called "So Tell Me: How Do You Burn The Fat" which as some great tips to speed up your metabolism.

I don't want to post the link here but if you want a copy send me a private message.

It really will help you to speed up your metabolism.

Good luck

Jen

I am a 30 year old, and despite diet and exercise it is very hard for me to loose weight. I am very interested in a copy of your free report.

Thanks,
E.
