Does a blood test hurt ? gotta have 1 & have phobia of needles

Having a Blood Test - to test for various things.
Never had one before & very nervous of Needles.
Will it hurt me ? What will happen ?

Hi there Isabella. There really isn't much to it. It will be a bit sore for a few seconds, and then afterwards they'll put some cotton wool on the area, it might be a bit sore bending your arm for a few hours but it's really not that bad. I find it best not to look!
