I have been hearing this for years now and i am at a loss as to what it could be, more than likely it is something harmless, but i was wondering if anyone else ever experiences this too.

What it is, is basically a noise, but it is like a fast dripping tap, and it is always at the back of my neck, and lasts for a few seconds at a time. I often go weeks without hearing it, but then i often go weeks hearing it a few times per day. It doesn't seem to happen during any time of significance, like when i am hungry or have a headache for example...but it is really confusing me.

I think it must be my spinal cord, the liquid sounds as if it is passing from one thin tube...it actually almost sounds like it is bubbling.

Am i crazy? LOL..

I also have this sound in my neck. I don't experience it all that often. You have explained it reaaly well and i am suprised to hear that other people have it too. I haven't ever mentioned it to anyone because it sounds soooo crazy. I'm sure too that is is nothing to worry about. You are not alone!

My partner has been complaining about the exact same thing! he is baffled!
