Male perspective

Hi!

Okay I'm a bloke. 43. Lowering testosterone count. Lowering sex drive. First thing I did was to talk to my girlfriend. Honestly. Took some doing...

That at least took the pressure off my head.

Next I've begun to get in not just good shape but fab shape. I was overweight, let's not deny it. Plus I'd had a history of being in previously great shape. This definitely doesn't help, however shallow it sounds. Self view a terrible thing.

Now I'm not at all saying you need to continue to lose the last 2 stone but it would give you a target and also a place to get to for another self review. The weight isn't the issue though is it? It's how you feel. My returning fitnes has given me back that great feeling but as yet some of the weight remains.

Since I started running again I have begun to feel great and relax more. With obvious benefits! As a Scorpio it came as quite a shock to suddenly (it felt like overnight) not feel like I want to have every woman I see. This was no joke. I even had times of fearing lack of performance. It was scary. Plus then you have to listen to friends and the stories... that doesn't help either.

Oh yes I also got myself a mind movie for my goals from www. darrylsdomain.co.uk which made me think about what I want at this stage of life.

Plus I started drinking much more water and slowing my pace down deliberately. Not to become an old man you understand. Just taking a forced slow pace removes the pressure. Especially after a day in a school with children.

If you do continue losing weight keep the pace of that slow too.

I have been on the other side of what you describe and he'll be only too willing to help you through this phase. We're not as crap as you think! Involve him in the process and maybe re start from holding hands? I did that and like the enforced slow pace with life it really gave a secure feeling.

I really do hope some of this helps..

It sounds like you need to get a medical and hair analysis, this will give you details of what is going on with you. We all need minerals and trace minerals as well as enzymes and vitamins to feel good. Your hair analysis will you what minerals you are lacking, and how to rectify it.
