Hi Nikki, I have really greasy skin that is prone to spots. I used to suffer really badly with them (huge red, painful spots, mostly around my chin). I decided to go on a "skin diet" which involved cutting down on chocolate/other sweet things - I know they say it is a myth that chocolate causes spots but whenever I over-indulge I can guarantee I will wake up with a spot or two the next day. In addition to this I increased my intake of vitamin C through eating strawberries and kiwis (I read somewhere that citrus fruits can make spots worse?), and I also took fish oil supplements which are meant to be great for the skin.
The other thing I tried (which I think has been the most significant in reducing my spots) was changing the type of makeup I used. I used to put on lots of liquid foundation and concealer to hide the spots, but I knew I was only making them worse. I read somewhere about mineral makeup, which is completely dry and oil free. You put on mineral foundation with a large brush (as if you were putting on normal loose powder), and the coverage is great. I use a brand called Lily Lolo which you can order through their website. I have a mineral foundation, a green coloured concealer which reduces redness, a normal coloured concealer, and a finishing powder designed for oily skin which keeps my face feeling clean all day.
Id definitely recommend trying these things instead of the prescribed creams you can get from the doctor which make your skin dry and red raw. If you stick to it for a few months you should notice a big difference. I still suffer from spots occasionally but it is nowhere near as bad as it used to be.

I have been suffering from acne problems and sometimes they really get worse. I have tried many of the anti-acne products available but I am not satisfied with them as I feel that the results they give are just a matter of time. Can anyone suggest me a good remedy for this?

Hi
With regards to youre message regarding acne. I suffered from it very badly. My eldest son too also did. My son told me to use baby wipes on my face 1st thing in morning and last thing at night. I thought this is absurd .... a baby-wipe but worth a try..... I did this for a week and my face is spot free. Now i use baby-wipes every day would'nt have it any other way.

Hi. Barley grass is a good cure for bas skin. You can take it in powder form a teaspoon a day, put in juice or just mixed in water. It has lots of minerals and vitamins and I;ve seen it work amazingly on a young 23 and 14 year old.

This is just one of the most basic problems that most people encounter. I too had been through this and I am really happy to say that it was just a passing affair. I had tried a lot of remedies unless I used Clearly Gone . This product definitely suits your problem as you can see the results as you use it. This is just my opinion as I can feel your pain of being troubled by acne problems and would be happy that someone is relieved by the problem which had troubled me.
