Swollen lymph gland in my neck........

Hi

I have a swollen lymph node at the back of my neck just at the end of my hairline on the right hand side. Went to see my GP yesterday as it is hard, stationary and painless and I don't feel unwell she ordered a blood test which was done there and then and now I have to go back to see her on monday. Well been on the web and now I'm in a state of panic! Obviously thinking the worst.

Has anyone else had swollen lymph glands that turned out to be nothing?

It could be that you are just heading for a cold or that something has blocked the lymph gland.

The internet can be a useful source of information but you have to be advised by your GP and please do not panic.
