Silicone poisoning???!

I've recently found out i have a rupture in my breast implant and want to know if this will affdct my general health?

I had my b.a nearly 4 years ago now and noticed a small lump just after xmas. i only got told a couple of weeks ago (after many docs appts, a scan and consultations) that i have a rupture in my right implant.

it's a silicone cohesive gel implant and i have been told that the silicone is migrating throughout my breast and armpit, affecting my lymph nodes. Will this poison me at all?

Will any of this make me ill? Becasue since christmas i've been on antibiotics 3 times for chest and throat infections, i've not been well since christmas and have been very run down and nearly always ill. i've been looking after myself and resting lots but i'm not getting better.

can anyone offer any advice as i really can't take any more time off work and want to get this all sorted asap.

i've just read your message and sympathise with you completely. The best thing to do with Silicone Implants is to have them removed ASAP. Have you discovered Dr Sarah Myhill, she is one of the 'good guys' and about the best person informed on this issue in the UK.
