Doctors

Do you kow what i would go the docs and demand a scan or mamogram or something because i would be panicing. Maybe something else is causing it so you could ask for a mri scan. You have decide how you feel physically and only you can decide what happens!

Hope this helps.

Go to the doctor

You are not accomplishing anything by not going to the doctor. You are working yourself up to a frenzy by not going. I had a hard lump in my breast when I was 21 and I was really really scared. And the doctor x-rayed it, and did an ultra sound on it, and even did a biopsy on it. Finally I had to have it removed through surgery. It was just a fibroid cyst and it wasn't cancerous. But if I hadn't gone to the doctor I wouldn't know that - I would still be worried.

"help, really worried"

I expect this is 'benign breast change' which means that your breasts are still developing. You didnt say how old you were? I went to the docs when I found a lump when I was about 19 and was sent for a scan. My breasts are always a little lumpy but you might just have a cyst there which you might or might not need taken out. There is absolutely nothing to worry about but go back to your doctor for your own peice of mind and put your foot down and say that you would like a scan. You will be amazed at how much weight will be lifted off your shoulders. Bite the bullet and do it! x

Get a 2nd opinion

Hi Angel, I wonder if it's the same as what I have. I was diagnosed with it when I was about 16 (I'm 25 now). Basically, once a month, just before my periods I get really tender breasts with lumps in them. They're sometimes so sore that even crossing my arms hurts. Unfortunately it was so many years ago when I went and I've forgotten what the doctor called it. It's basically to do with changing hormone levels.

I'd ask to see another doctor though cos saying "it's probbaly nothing" just isn't good enough. At the time, I even had a scan to reassure me that it wasn't cancer. You should def go and get a second opinion. Shaz xx
