Hello
In the process of moving house, job and country and have been feeling really run down lately, and seem to have had one thing after another. Just wondered if anyone knew of any good ways to boost your immune system?
Many thanks

hi, i was feeling the same way, Boots do these extra high strength chewable vitamin c tablets (1 a day), I started taking them around two months ago and so far so good. Also get your iron levels checked if you are feeling tired all the time, get any cracks around the corners of your mouth or notice that your hair seems thinner, these are all signs of low iron levels and something women have to watch

Re "any ways to boost immune system?"
Getting enough sleep and rest work for me. When you're tired, you're immune system is very weak.

Try an adaptogen
Something I have always found helpful is ginseng, which is an 'adaptogen', which means it adjusts body energy levels and also helps boost immune system.
recently I discovered another adaptogen that is used a lot in China and considered even better than Ginseng. Its called jiaogulan. Google it and see what I mean. The Chinese call it the "Immortality herb", although I don't think it stops you from dying
well worth checking out. its available from a few Uk sources, but the cheapest site I found was www.immortalityherb.co.uk
good luck!

Boost your iron intake
Feeling tired or run down is a major symptom of aneamia, especially if you have experienced these feelings for a prolonged length of time. Anaemia, which results in reduced resistance to infection, affects so many women today - yet so few of them realise it!
So, make sure your iron intake is up to scratch. Good sources include red meat and liver. If you are a vegetarian, stock up on dark green leafy vegetables, dried fruit and pulses.
Boosting your vitamin C intake will aid iron absorption and further strengthen your immune system. Get it from kiwifruit, green peppers, berries, rosehips and oranges.
Generally increasing your intake of fruit and lowering intake of processed foods should help you to feel a lot healthier!
