Is vegetarianism linked to health problems?
Hello, just wanted some advise from someone more clued up on me on this subject. I have been a vegetarian for the past four years; however, it's been proven my diet hasn't been excellent because within these years I have had four fillings, dizzy spells, sickness in the morning, lack of appetite, moments of exhaustion and have been tested for multiple illnesses such as diabetes (the type that lacks glucose), anaemia and some others that I can't even remember now.
I have seen on some websites that experts believe that vegetarianism is linked to the following: tooth decay, anaemia, vitamin/mineral deficiency, protein deficiency, etc. Is this really the case? I have also gone vegan for a year, which meant that my calcium level has inevitably depleted.
Does anyone have any suggestions on what should I do? Give up the vegetarian diet, or are there any methods to improve it?
Thank you in advance!!!!
