i think i have sinusitis...anyone know how long this lasts?

I have surgury booked a week 2morrow and after 23 years of never having sinus problems it decides to happen to me now! iv had it for about a week, a high pressure, blocked up pain behind my eyes and nose which gets worse when i lean forward and its horrible. heard it lasts around 2 weeks and just wondered if anyone has had it and could give me some advice!

i have had sinus problems over two years, pressure/headaches. had two operations, thought i found the answer in neilmed sinus rinse but still suffering throbbing, any ideas, willing to try acupuncture, but its expensive, would have the op for the 3rd time if they could do what they didn't do for the first two!.. any ideas

I am a massage therapist and I have treated clients with sinusitis. Unfortunately there's no hard and fast rule. The client I treated last week has been suffering from years but because your problem is recent my guess is that it will not be a long term one.

Manual lymphatic drainage and hopi ear candling can help. Have you also considered avoiding dairy products?
