has anyone had pelvic floor repair surgery after having children?

i am 35 years old and have 4 kiddies aged 1, 11, 14 and 17.
i feel very "slack" down below now and so i am going to have pelvic floor repair in feb has anyone had this done?
i would love to get back to feeling "normal" down below and have a good sex life again. any advice would be greatly apreciated. shonagh x

I have had 6 children difficult births including extended breech. I had the operation years ago so that when I reached the menopause I wouldnt become incontinent. Everything fine and its well worth doing.

Advice please?

May i ask who you had the surgery with? I am due to see a surgeon next week and noticed such a difference after my second child - i just feel so different and I hate it - can u help?
