Exploring whether songwriting improves wellbeing
Hi Im Dr Nick Troop from the University of Hertfordshire
Im a songwriter and a Health Psychologist and would very much appreciate your help to explore the effects (if any) songwriting may have on various aspects of your well-being.
Previous studies have suggested that music/song-writing can have many benefits, including those associated with wellbeing. Others suggest that songwriting may simply reflect the state of mind the writer is already in.
So if you are a songwriter (novice or experienced) or someone who would like to start songwriting, wed love to hear from you.
If you are already a song-writer, you can find out more about the study and participate here:

If you have never written a song before but think you'd like to take it up, you can find out more about the study and participate here:
