High protein levels in my blood

Hiya folks, im a married mum of 3 boys (9,7 and 3) i work part time as a Housing support worker and also volunteer as a special police constable every other weekend, i keep busy but also have enough time to relax, I have borderline underactive thyroid (was overactive when i had my first son) i'm a size 12 and weigh about 10st 6lbs im 5ft7" tall, im 31 and quite healthy.
but for quite some time now, i have been feeling sleepy, lethargic, generally cant be bothered to do anything, moody and sore around the lower right side of my abdomen. I visited the Dr to see if my thyroid was playing up, it wasnt they checked my liver, kidneys and full blood count, they called me to come back in and told me that i had really high levels of protein in my blood, so i needed further tests done, i had my ultra sound today where they checked my kidneys, liver, spleen, gall bladder etc, the sonographer said there was no point doing an ultrasound on the bowel area. everything was fine.

Last week i thought i was having appendisitis, but it went away, now i have discomfort i constantly feel squeemish.

does anybody have any ideas or advice, im scared.

Your diet

Hello there

What is your diet like? honestly! do you eat much dairy/processed foods etc?
Lots of research has been done into the effect of soya products on underactive thyroid, do you consume much soya?
And what about your emotional state? Are there any issues in your current or past life which might need adressing and could be affecting your health?

I myself am not an expert but work with a natural health practitioner who would definitely be able to help if you are interested.

High blood protein levels

Please let me know if you should find out anything at all regarding your condition. I just went to the Dr. 3 days ago with identical symptoms. My blood protein levels came back slightly elevated. My doctor is sending the blood off to another doctor or lab for further testing. If I shoud learn something definite, I will be sure to let you know. Research on the internet says the causes can be: infection, inflammation (like arthritis), hepatitis, HIV, problems with plasma, or different kinds of cancer. I'm hoping for some simple infection that can be cleared up with antibiotics.
