The pill: longer periods?

I started taking the Pill on the first day of my period as the instructions stated, and havn't come off my period since.

it has now been 12 days.

not only am I getting throughly sick of being on a period as a girl who's periods usually last around 3-4 days, but I am not up for having sex while "on" and I'm getting worried that there may be something wrong with me.

please, please help if you can - with any information you have.

i had the same problem. i thought i was the only one!!! i looked for answers everywhere but when i didnt find any i switched pills and my periods are back to normal
