I'm very sorry..you should enjoy every life moment but sometimes things are difficult. Have you tried to see a doctor? He could suggest you a therapy and help you to discover your depression reasons. You could try Bach flowers too, do you know them? In the meanwhile pls try to see your friends, tell them you need their friendship and support

Hi Creativegirl1, I'm sorry you're feeling depressed but I really think the first thing you should do is make an appointment to see your doctor, he will be able to help, not only prescribing mild medication but may even be able to put you in touch with a counsellor. Sometimes it's difficult to get out of this spiral on your own. I don't know how old you are or where you live but there are lots of support agencies out there, paricularly for young people. Once you have the help of your doctor you might find the strength to tackle some of your other problems by contacting, say, Connexions, which offers all types of support or try to find some social groups and link in with those.

Hi my name is Laura. Here are a few tips, but before i start i would like to say how important it is that your doctor knows what is going on. Your brain is a working machine and there are many chemicals that affect your mood and well being. Lack ofSerotonin which is a Chemical that can make you feel down and depressed or it can cause panic attacks and anzitey attacks. The levels of serotonin can be lowered if you use drugs, liquer and even nicotine. So I beg you please see a professional you'll benefit in the log run!
There are a few things you can try too. St. Johns wort, however if you are on birth control you will want to increase your protection because there are studies that link birth control failure to St. Johns wort. You can also try exercise, and stay away from very very high sugar foods. Try comfort foods such as mashed potatoes, pasta, and even chocolate! Yes even chocolate!
I hope you begin to feel better but don't be surprised if it takes a while. If you feel that you are heving more troble you will need to contact someone you can always write me back on a private message, i don't check it on the weekends. Cheer up and hang in there.
your friend from afar,
Laura

Hi
i have just seen this website for the first time and saw your
message. I am not an expert and it might be a good idea to
see your local gp, but my advice would be to try and i know it is difficult, but just try and get some regular exercise.
is there anything you like such as swimming ?
And as i said at the begining you should talk to someone, tell your parents, brothers, sisters , and ask them or one of them to help you. I hope you manage to pull out of this, it is an awful feeling and sometimes you cant do it alone.
I wish you well,
dddelta.
