Bless you!

Thats a nice thing to say...don't worr I have him-indoors to batter if I need to de-stress.Poor chap!If you get to Oxford (lots of boring colleges)I'd be happy to join u on the bus tour or meet for lunch? Happy to chat in the meantime...I hope you hae fun over hre..brits are 'interesting'and some of us are reasonably sane!))

Hi mumzie from glynda

hi again we plan to get around heaps and catching up for lunches etc are high on the priority list!!we figure brits are an interesting mob since we are both descended from them...travelling mate and i came up with this brilliant idea while out horseriding in a wild thunderstorm....it was rather nice getting rained on...we had just finished the worst bushfires in about 60 years-very scary stuff!!so anyway bright idea hatched and now we save like crazy and work oodles of hours so we can come and have a ball!!my daughter thinks its a brilliant thing...my son was predictably male-(sorry to the fellas)-what about meee??? its ok though he seems to be over it now!!so we have heaps of planning to do-must admit being organised is not my strong point-im the person standing in the airport going-now today IS monday-right???it should be alright on the night....it usually is...hope all is good in your world g

Hi glynda

So your daughter is coming over too, or are you haveing a thelma & louse thing going-on? If you fancy Oxford, I could try and sort some cheap/free nights if you are willing to do an exchange whenever that person gets to Auz?. You-know , thats an idea..this forum must have loads of women who could offer a night or two, you'd get some great contacts adn not have to stay in rip-off b&bs all the time. Also the Youth hostel association is great in the uk..cheap too (and you don't have to be a youth!) I am a natural organise , so if you need my help...just ask.
Looking forward to meeting you!
H

Hi mumzie!!

very much a thelma and louise thing...although i do plan to do some more travelling with my daughter-we have an absolute ball when we holiday together!!the swap idea is brilliant and i would love to have people come and visit here-i live in a great part of the country-a real tourist destination-so we will have to start making it happen. we plan to stay inyouth hostels as much as possible-we figured we were youthful once.....and also chase down the odd long lost rellie..who might bed us down for a night in exchange for our wonderful company!!??? got to go-taking teenage son and cohorts out for a fun day of murder and mayhem....actually they are all great and we will have heaps of fun ...catch you soon g
