Im nearly 21 and very 'skinny' i prefer the word slim but people do not ever use it! does anyone have any tips on trying to put weight on. I eat 3 meals a day and im not a healthy person - i have been trying to put weight on for ages and cant seem to do it and its driving me mad! Is there anyone out there who can advise me on what im doing wrong!!!

Have you had your thyroid checked? (FT3, FT4, TPO-AK, TSH) You could have an overactive thyroid or an autoimune disease of the thyroid. Such people are often too skinny even if they eat as much as a mason.
You should have this checked at your doctor's, because if you ignore an overactive thyroid, you are not doing a favour to your heart.
I don't mean to scare you. When I mention this, it does not mean you have to have thyroid problems, but doctors like to forget checking the thyroid. I used to have an underactive thyroid for years - no doctor noticed it. Today I am okay.

You probably still have an active life and a fast metabolism, so relax and enjoy being skinny - as long as you're healthy there's no reason to try to put on weight!
