Hey there
I'm 12 years old and am just about to start highschool.
Recently, my best friend Rachel, who is normally a really nice person, has turned on me.
Two weeks ago, I asked her to come round to my house (She only lives three blocks away) and said she would. I waited for six hours before she finally called me up and told me she was at my WORST ENEMY's house, Lauren!!!
She told me she hated her quite a while ago, but now they are practically best friends, wearing the same clothes, going shopping together, and even listening to the same music!
She used to like the Chilli Peppers, but when I start talking about them, she says "How can you listen to that crap?!" and walks off!
When I even go near her, instead of a smile and "Hey Leona!" like she used to, she doesen't even acnoledge (sorry about the spelling) I am there, especially when Lauren is around.
Today, I was attempting to talk to her on MSN aboutit, but she ignored me and signed off!
She ignores my phone calls, and now has even BLOCKED my e-mail address.
Please help me out, I am getting really mad and VERY CONFUSED.

Im 13 .. and already in high school .. but my best friend is being really off with me .. i mean she isnt ignoring me but when i speaking to her its just a grumpy yes, no or dunno Its been going on for ages now .. i told my mum cuz i can talk to my mum about anything and she said just dont chase after her in the end she will realise how stupid she has been and want to be friends again .. and shes right babe .. Im sure you have plenty of other best or good friends .. if she wont listen to you thats her problem not your and your dont need to have someone like that in your life

u need to find real friend even thoiugh yah had a long tome friend ship its not worth being upset about.if she was a real friend she would be there for u

Look, I'm sure that while your confused about this sudden turn in yalls relationship, she's probably lost in who she is and what she wants. You said your just entering Highschool. It is more than just a little confusing. Fads and the need to be cool and 'in' is hard for a lot of people to handle. But at the same time this girl may not have felt the same depth to the friendship as you did, and if that is so than you have got to cut loose. Remember the good times and forget about trying to stick with the past. This is her problem, and from the sound of it, she gave up one hell of a friend. So my advise is talk to her, if that don't work move on, but try and keep your door open to her, who knows she might come around.

Hiya,
Listen what you need is some better friends. Don't Stress or get worried about it. Put it this way you are only 12 there are millions more people out there & probably much nicer then this one!!
Just be civil say hi find new friends and stay out of her way!
She will soon realise what she is doing.
At 12 you should not have an enemy.
Have you thought why this other girl is your enemy?
Maybe the three of you could all hang out together!

Hello Im from Germany and 24 years old.
Maybe I can help you. I also had such an experience with my best friend.
Its really hard to deal with that. Try to go your own way, and dont try to think about how much it hurts. Its not easy, but maybe she recognises her real friends when she really needs somebody. Have you been always there for her and has she been always there for you when you were in trouble?
It takes some time, but you will feel better after a while. Dont you have the possibility to get to know new friends? Look for new people that treat you right. A real really good would never treat you that way!!
