Jealousy and vindictiveness in the psychic world

Why is that people who call them psychic are so disgusting. My girlfriend went on a 5 days course in Wales recently the course leader was drunk half the time, and there were constant drama's ..It looked ok on the web site but she felt really disillusioned when she came back
She said there was so much bitchyness that she will never go another course again
I think all these supposed spiritual people are just egotists that like to be in the front line and know nothing about real spirituality at all

One bad apple does not make the barrel

Sadly in this world there are some that can be led to believe what they want by watching and listening to others, and then there are others who can see the bigger picture it was a shame that your girlfriend had such an unfortunate experience on her course, but dont let that tarnish any experiences that may come to you in the future. Try to focus on any of the positive aspects of what was seen on the course. Has she come away with something from the course that she has not yet recognised, often we have to look to ourselves for our own self belief. There are people and courses out there that are genuine, a spirtitual course is one that is run and allows the participant to find their own path, with help and guidance. Being psychic is a gift we all have but for some it is more developed and open than others and yes they can be as they are, because they are human with human traits and frailities. Being psychic does not make one better or worse than another and being psychic does not automatically make one spirtual. Spirituality is not about worshiping one particular god or finding one religion to live by, it is about living your own life with honesty, truthfulness, gratitude and love for others but first and foremost for yourself. Yes I beleive this and no I am not perfect LOL and there are days when I forget to love myself, but I have found that by exploring all avenues that interest me, I have learnt to know myself better and have found my own spiritual path that has helped me to develop and open my own psychic abilities. So all I would say is please dont let one bad experience mar your future. I always find if I have a bad experience I look to find what lesson I can take from it and also that it gives me a measuring stick against which I can look at other things and know that if it does not feel right then dont do it.

Fakes

The actual truth is that nobody can teach you to be psychic. You have been ripped off. If you actually know anyone who has the sight, they will tell you the same. It is not always a gift, it can also be a curse. There is an old African proverb which says "If there is only one road to travel, and there is a Lion on that road, it is better to travel in the dark".

Psychic abilities, of all types, can be taught to anyone with an open minded approach to life. One of my firmest beliefs is that everyone is psychic, without that knowledge I couldn't teach others, which I do quite successfully.

I've only ever failed once. Funnily enough that was with someone who reckoned they had a 'gift.' Psychic skills are just techniques anyone can learn with a little help.

There's an old Derbyshire proverb which goes, 'Shut tha gob till tha knows what tha are on about. Cos sure as lime is white summin will say different.'

Adepts

turn the question round then, how to recognise an Adept?

Do they meditate?
Do they abstain? (from most of the horrors soaking current society)
Have they lost their ego?
Are they dedicated to a true course?

I would always recommend meeting a teacher before signing up for anything on the web. Eye contact should tell you everything you need to know.

Yes that is so true, she said she sounded like she walked her talk but was an actress.It was a good lesson for her and she is very intuitive anyway so why bother with all that ..she thought it would be fun .
This lady said she mdeitated talked to Angels blah blah ...but a fake..I think people like that are dangerous power freaks.
Also she smoked,danced, sang ...said she was a healer ..not nice..
I can afford it but for those who can't.. anyway how do you know? ..people say what they think that you want to hear when they are selling something ,perhaps it was just an experinece she needed to have to know she didn't need it at all and is fine just as she is
