Why do people here offer free readings if

they never reply?

The esoteric world is one that is developed after personal growth, respect for oneself and the others. It seems to me there is lack of both here in this forum, lots of empty and false promises.

... I understand how frustrating and disappointing it must be to ask for a reading (sometimes several times) and not get one but it's worth bearing in mind that this can work both ways.

I have done 13 FREE readings in the past week, usinf more or less all of my spare time that included my breaks at work for only 4 of the recipients to even bother to say thank you or offer any kind of input as to whether the reading was beneficial to them. That means 8 people have took advantage of the offer of a free reading and can't even be bothered to send a quick thank you for the time and energy I have given them.

Now perhaps they didn't like the reading or they couldn't connect with it. Perhaps I didn't tell them what they want to hear, as some people have very fixed ideas about what THEY want to hear in a reading and when they don't get it they try someone else. I have noticed several people approaching several different readers with the same question/issue. Perhaps they are just hedging their bets as at least one reader will reply to them, but if they're receiving numerous readings on the same issue, it's all going to become very contradictory. They will just end up with lots of different cards, lots of different interpretations and not a lot of sense.

I do hope that anyone who is seeking a free reading (something you will usually pay anything up to £20+ for online) will remember to show the courtesy to at least thank the reader and offer something in the way of feedback. Ashy77 made some very good points in her post about how the readers in this forum are generally doing it to improve their skills and abilities, so just as it can be disheartening to not receive a reading you asked for, it can be as equally disheartening to offer your free services to people who cannot even show you the good manner to say thanks.

False free readings

i totaly agree with you i have asked for many free readings off different mediums and there are only some that reply if they are not willing to do the free readings they should not advertize .

No replies

i agree it is very disappointing

No replies?

Truth of the matter is, that this type of "work" is very draining for the person giving the readings. Usually when people advertise free readings they want to do so in wanting to develop their skills and abilities more. But are often overrun by the amount of people wanting free readings.

You have to understand that this person is offering up their personal time and energy, and believe me, it takes a lot of energy to do one single reading for someone. Imagine doing 10. That is like a full time job on its own and it drains you of so much you often go to bed feeling extremely tired.

Now, they are left with 100 mails in their inbox from more people wanting a free reading. They have no alternative but to ignore you because they can't or simply don't have the energy to answer all 100 of those mails.

How I use to do it was scan my mails, read through them and see which people genuinely needed help and guidance and it was to them I'd give a free reading. If I had time I would go back to the others.

Readings can become addictive and it's not wise that you ask for 20 a week because it does mess up your energy and psychics pick up on things wrongly because you're not balanced in a sense. One reading every 6 months perhaps, but not one everyday.

So bare in mind, psychics are people too. they have to work, eat and have a social life just like anyone else. If there's no balance between work and life, then they will burn out. So give them some slack.
