I need someone to tell me the meaning of this horrible dream...

This morning I dreamt that i was in the house where i grew up, i had a denim dress, and i didnt had no shoes on. (In that house, my mother used to have a day care center, so she always put something in the front door, so that the baby wouldnt go outside or the dogs inside) In my dream, i was next to the wood sofa, but i was on it's side, not front or back, and it was somehow parallel to the door. Then i saw something crawling in the porch, but i thought it couldnt come inside, since we had a 2 feet piece od wood blocking its way. But then, it jumped, it was a 1-floot black scorpion, and it was standing in top of the piece of wood. When i tried to jump to the sofa, it jumped to the floor and it crawled to attack me, and besides it was big as hell, it was quick, so when i tried to jump to the sofa, somehow my legs were hanging, and the scorpion jumped to my demim dress, then i woke up screaming.

I dont know, but these days i've been having dreams that i am in that house or in the old barrio where i grew up. And i am scared, cause i have read that if you dream with scorpions, that means problems, and i am worried i will have one, cause my mother in law (which likes me one day at a week, and for whom my husband is blind) wants to move with us, and i am worried i might have problems in my marriage, and besides that my family is having problems, i dont know, somebody please tell me what's the meaning of that weird dream. i think the house represents you it was a safe place when you were a child, but as a child you had no control over how it was run and your life but it was ok it was safe enough. However now you are worried about your mother-in-law moving in with you and you say there are other problems in your family the house is representing your lack of control over the circumstances in your current situation the scorpion mybe representing your mother-in-law which becomes big once inside the house in your dream i'm sorry if this attempt at an explanation for you is hard to follow - it's quite a complicated dream. But i would try to summerise it that you fear losing control of your home your safe place, to your mother-in-law. This is just the impression i get having read about your dream. Next time you have it try and remember that you are in charge of your dream before you go to sleep visualize the house and visualize something in it that would help you eradicate the scorpion or even just visualise yourself calm and asking the scorpion what it wants from you it is quite capable of speech in your dreamstate.
