Hi crafty people,
I've just found a really good site for selling handmade things, it works like ebay. Has anyone got any experience of it? It's called etsy.com
Has anyone ever tried to sell their stuff in general? I make jewellery (quite kitsch) have a website in the pipeline and am hopefully going to kick of a little sideline, was wondering if anyone else had done similar and had any advice.

I do have things on the internet that are for sale but I use the websites mainly for showcasing my artwork work so that potential buyers can see what I do. I use Artwanted.com as my main site. I'm not sure but I think you may be able to put craft work on there to. You can see my stuff at www.artwanted.com/Elizzabeth Its a fun site with a nice forum. I have never heard of etsy.com Have you tried selling at the craft fayres? I am sure if you goole craft fayres it will come up with lots of them. It is a long toime since I have been to one but they are quite fun to do.
