I am arranging a long w/e in London this October and I am taking my 8yrs old daughter for her first visit there. Two girl-friends of mine will come, together with the teen daughter of one of them.

Can you suggest a nice b&b or hotel not far from downtown?

Have you tried looking at Travelodge? They're quite roomy and not too expensive
