Am about half way through American Psycho by Brett Easton Ellis. Has anyone else read this? I don't know what I think of it.... it's a rather cynical view of the way of life of rich young Americans working in the finance industry in the 1990's and you need a strong stomach for it in some parts. I'd like to know what other readers thought of it.

I've been meaning to read that for ages!
I'll let you know when I've finsihed it, I'm going to start tonight. I finished the Bookseller of Kabul this morning and am just ready for something like that, the complete antithesis - ful of money and privilege.
I find reading two completely dissimilar books back to back puts them in relief and makes you think more about both of them. Does anyone else agree, or is it just me?!
