I'm a 51 year old grandma and I've read all the Harry Potter books and have seen all the movies. I think they're great. I can't wait until Saturday for the new book. Try them. When they were recommended to me by my son I thought he was nuts. Why would I want to read a kids book. Now I'm hooked big time.

No. I have never understood how anyone over the age of 12 can read this overhyped trash (and they seem proud of it). It's a sad indictment of the times we live in when garbage like Harry Potter is deemed "literature".
