"A very good book"

Kundera is one of my favourite authors; but the book I like most is "The Joke" (I'm not sure it is the right title, in French it's "La plaisanterie").

Whole thread for the following message:

Has anyone read it and what did you think?
I'm halfway through it and really enjoying it.

It's very deep. I've nearmy finished it, and I think it's one that I'm going to go back and re-read several times, I don't feel like I'm picking up on everything it's saying. there are so many allegories, it's very complicated, but also very enjoyable.
