I really liked it, what did everyone else think?
I have a Bangladeshi friend whose parents weren't impressed by the tone of the book, but maybe that's a cultural/generational thing.

I'm not Bangladeshi either, but I've got mixed-race Bangla friends who all enjoyed it loads, I think you could be right in thinking it's a generational thing! have you read Small Island?
