I'm very surprised

there is not more discussions on that board
is it unusual to chat about books in UK
I never go to UK and don't know how people speak about reading.
What's yr opinion please.

I think the problem may be that it's a new site, but the more people who chat, the more people will come!
I'm reading 'Whit' by Iain Banks at the moment, have you ever read anything by him?
I have always been a bit put off, because I caouln't get into the Wasp Factory, and the covers made me think they were more books for men (!) but I'm really enjoying it.
It looks at religious sects in the modern world, it's really good!

I don't know this author

my English male authors are David Lodge, Ken Fowlett, Peter Mayle.
