Hi, i cant tell you about perms but i can tell you that i am 30 weeks,i had my hair dyed(blonde highlights) about 5 weeks ago i was devastated when they turned out yellow, its turned very dry too. The hair dresser blamed my hormones.
I am getting it done tomorrow lets hope its second time lucky, my friend has just said that that your perm may not take as well........ give it a try and just keep puttin treatments on your hair to stop it from going dry
good luck
how far are you

So many people have given me different advice over this so not sure what to think. I have been perming my hair for a couple of years now and am not sure wether i should still do this when pregnant? I know it may sound vain and part of me thinks i should just stop, as it is better to be safe than sorry. But with mank hair without the perm and conflicting opinions i am not sure what to think.

Any advice would be really appreciated!

Have been having the same problem myself, i colour my hair from blonde to black, and have continued to do so through out my pregnancy, it's the fumes you have to worry about more than anything else. But they do say that the perm might not take because of extra hormones.

Hope this helps
