Just a few things i have found helps:

1)Wear maternity clothes not just larger size womens - even if you are not that big - get the maternity clothes that stretch with you - it tends to make you look less frumpy and more pregnant and is therefore more sexy

2) if you are having a really bad day go and buy yourself a new necklace or smthg - even if its from somewhere like Tesco - who at the moment do some lovely cheap jewellry. Smthg simple like this can give you a boost.

3) Ask around to see if there are any groups for pregnant women around where you live - coffee mornings etc with those who are expecting and those who have just had - this way you can talk to people who are or have been in your situation....

Hope this helps a little at least...
Good luck

my first post was this exact topic.
i still feel like it now, though i have good days and bad days.
concentrate on hair/make-up, have a big bath, foot spa if youve got one...i guess we will feel better when back in our old clothes. you are right the men dont understand. a long walk helps me too, or doing all the housework. you are not alone!

This is my fist pregnancy. I'm @ 15wks too. This is the one time in life you're allowed to look this way; you're supposed to! Accept it! Embrace it! We still have a long way to go! After all, it's such a worthwhile reason, hey? And give that man of yours a great big hug and kiss. My beloved is in prison, dang it. I'd love for him to be around yet clueless.

You can always stay in shape and look good during pregnancy.

There is a proven program for you to get through your pregnancy in better shape than most other women in as little as 27 minutes a day and with minimal effort.

I've been feeling the same but over the past couple of weeks having been starting to feel better! I think as your belly starts to look and feel more obviously pregnant you start to feel less frumpy, thats how its been for me - although I do still have off days when I more or less beg for compliments from my other half!! I've started dressing a bit more femininely too which has helped - with summer coming have bought lots of pretty dresses which can wear on own or layered up with leggings etc - usually you wouldn't get me out of my jeans! Other half is loving my new wardrobe so far!!!xx

hey shaz

am 26 weeks pregnant now and looking good my belly is no longer looking fat its looking round and neat. this feeling doesnt always go mine hasnt am looking great but sometimes i wake up and fink omg i feel fat it depends on how self consious you are. i was a size 8 before i got pregnant and now and a size 10 in maternity clothes and size 12 in normal so its depressing me a bit coz i can no longer get into my skinny jeans. am due in august so am carrying all the way through summer imagain how i feel am gunna be hhuge while skinny lasses walk around in skirts and shorts.

things do get better am waiting for my bloom. good luck anyway chick like your other reply said dont wear normal clothes get fitted maternity as this will make you worse.

good luck it gets better! x x
