Does anyone else feel like the first 12 weeks are going on forever....

Im 8 weeks and 2 days today and it feels like forever until I reach the 3 month stage

I read on a pregnancy page that after you get to 8 weeks the risk of miscarriage drops to 8% - has anyone else heard this?

I have heard that the risk drops significantly once you are able to hear the heartbeat...and I think that can happen at around 8 weeks with good equipment, so that may well be true.

It does feel like forever, I remember it well! I'm 18 weeks now, and all I can say is try to keep busy - I have a very busy work environment which really helped me when all I wanted to do was cross off days on the calendar!

Good luck, both of you x

yeah it certainly feels like forever.

i can be quite impatient and so its hard because you do things to keep busy and to keep your mind busy but it doesnt work, because every time you do something you think is it safe for me to do that, or how will it affect the baby or the morning sickness is too bad to do anything etc.

i'm 7 weeks and 2 days now. i've never hear about the risk dropping to 8% before but to be honest i havent read too much. i'm just taking each day at a time but i hope it is true. i've just always heard that the first 3 months is the scary period.
