Even if i am only starting my 36 weeks but, my baby is already engaged at 3/5, according to the midwife, and he makes me feeling very tired. At 39 weeks, i think you can't really walk a lot anymore, so going to the park and relaxing there might be painful but, as Nath said, a good massage at the end of the day; having a nice bath with plenty of nice smells, some candles; taking time for a nap in the afternoon will make you feeling a bit better.
Personally, i am exhausted, my energy goes up and down. I always feel guilty to go to sleep 1 hour in the afternoon but, why not after all ? when baby will be here, having a good rest might be difficult so, take advantage of all the opportunities now !! and Good luck !

does it every time for me and I'm not pregnant! A foot massage is one of the most relaxing thigsn ever, especially if you've got swollen ankles etc.

i'm nearly 37 weeks, this is my third baby, i feel really tired too and can't wait till he comes. last week i was having contractions, i thought this is it, he is early, of course they were only braxtons contractions, i don't like much being pregnant so it will be a delight if it came early even if i haven't pack my bag yet, i'm in the middle of decorating the baby's room and i'm still missing bits lke nappies and pyjamas... as for tips on pampering, with 2 children my luxury is to have a nap or a lie in(i know it's hardly a spa) but u could ask your partner to give u a massage, always nice, or splash out on nice creams 4 mums to be! good luck nat
