i have no more than 3 cups of tea a day and buy de-caff coffee instead of ordinary coffee

does anyone know what harm drinking coffee can do to your baby i drink lots of it and i am around 9 weeks what damage am i causing?

i know for a fact that coffee can cause a miscarriage as it has happened to a friend of mine. please be careful. im 9 weeks pregnant and i dont touch tea coffee or coke.

App too much caffine can contribute to a miscarriage, they recommend around 5-6 cups a day.
Its not this harmful to everyone, but the levels of caffine can be dangerous in early stages.
midwifes suggest to limit your caffine or cut it out if you have had a miscarriage before..
during my first 14 weeks i cut it out completely, prob wouldnt have done any harm, but any wee chance is a worry!!
