I am due on Sept 30th and was wondering when to start doing all the antenatal stuff (e.g. aquanatal classes). I live near Ladbroke grove and would like to know if anyone in my area can recommend a good local place to go. There is a gym/pool where I work but they don't do stuff for pregnant people and I don't like the idea of my (male) colleagues seeing my bump just yet! Want to start doing some exercise before I get really big and my muscles waste away.
Wore 2" heels today for the first time in about 4 weeks and nearly lost my balance so the sooner I build up my leg muscles the better!
Also, where do people stand on NCT classes. Are they essential?..or a bit unnecessary? My local ones are almost fully booked already so will I be really missing out if I don't get a place? Maybe the NHS ones are sufficient. Would be good to hear what others think
