Go to the doctor, not the chemist

I went to see the pharmacist to ask advice and she gave me a huge list of things I could take - tablets, nasal sprays etc but then told me she wasn't prepared to sell any of them to me without getting a prescription.

I popped to see the doctor who said that he would prescribe Chlorphenamine tablets (Piriton) as they were safe in pregnancy. He said that like with any tablets when you're pregnant, the lowest dose is the safest.

It's probably best to bypass the chemist shop and speak directly to the doctor.

They gave me a list of things to avoid, but I am sorry, I am not prepared to sit in a room without the bloody windows open in this weather! Sometimes they have NO idea!

Best of luck,

im going to give my dr. a call and see if its ok this early and if it is im going to kiss him!! finally an end to this stupid sniffly CRAP!!
