Nothing to worry about
The position of the placenta corresponds to where the implantation took place in the womb right at the begining of your pregnancy. As long as the placenta is not "low lying" ie covering your cervix (which means you can't give birth naturally), you are absolutely fine, it doesn't make any difference whatsoever. The only difference is that if the placenta is at the front of your womb (anterior position I think), it might muffle the kicks of your baby so you might feel baby kicking for the first time a bit later than if the placenta was at the back. But to be honest, I have an anterior placenta and I've felt baby kicking since I've been 14 wk pregnant . good luck with the rest of your pregnancy, Flo, Etienne 17 months and a stubbornly breech 36 wk pink bump.
