Advice please

Im now 28+2 into my 2nd pregnancy and for the past day ive been getting painful BH and getting a feeling like ive been being sucked down from the bottom of my fibs right out of my bits (if that makes any sence at all).
Also for all ive been feeling flutters ive not felt any good strong movements from bump. (Its usually extreamly active). My bump also seems much smaller this morning and is definetly firmer. (my OH thinks he can see that its smaller so im not imagineing it.

Anyway the reason im posting is to see if anyone else has had this and what it could be? and wether i should be harrassing my midwife?

Ive got a naff midwife so know i will be made to feel like im wasting there time if i go there streight away.

thanks

kirst and elliot 13 months and bump x

Hi

not sure about the BH i never got them, but as for bump looking smaller and being harder, baby has got in a ball i reckon, mine changes shape and bits seem harder he/she has found a comfy position for a while. Don't worry but ring your midwife if worried or wait til evening and ring labour ward thats what theyre there for, dont matter if she thinks your wasting her time your not, you have worries and she's your midwife
lots of luck, kerry, frankie 15months and boy bump 29 wks x

Heya

If your worried you should trust your instint & give your midwfie a call or maybe the maternity unit. Always better to be on the safe side.

I have notcied that BHs are alot more painful this time around. I get a few every evening & they really take my breath away.

The pain in your fib could be spd. I remember posting a few months back about a simialr feeling & everyone said could be start of spd. Might be worth mentioning it at your next mw/consultant appt.

Hope this helps
